The Moser-Method
International hair research institutes discovered decades ago that the hair in the rope of hair is genetically programmed to grow the whole life-long. This fact represents the basis of the Moser- Method. The Moser-Method was first presented by the first owner of the clinic in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro, at an international hair congress, where over 1000 grafts were successfully transplanted. Our method is globally recognized and used internationally. Today we can transplant 4500 locks during one session. The Moser's method can be found in the main scientific work "Hair Transplantation" and forms an important basis for the hair surgery. The roots of the hair grow, according to their nature, in units consisting of 1-2-3 or 4 pieces of individual hair. These units are called follicular units (FU´s). The units at the nape of the neck are programmed to grow the whole life long. They are transplanted to the bald parts, or to those where there are gaps in the hair, because there they continue to grow. Using the Moser-Method, we remove the hair locks from the donor's neck and divide them into individual hair roots units (follicular units); where a crew of 17 assistants and 17 high-resolution screen microscopes prepare the removed hair locks. Between the removal and effective transplantation, the follicular hair units are stored in a special alimentary solution, in which they are immunized against growth dysfunctions. Today, the general procedure is that the follicular units are prepared for the transplantation. Many years of experience, skilled experts and the most up-to-date technology are crucial for the success of own hair transplantations.
Criteria, which are standards at Moser Medical:
The recipient areas, bald or thinning areas, are prepared with tiny, similar to openings large pores. During the next step our hair specialists and our treatment team transfer the follicular units to the recipient area. We are adapting our instruments during the treatment to the hair structure. This Ultra Refined Follicular Unit Transplantation enables us to achieve a density of 50 FUs / cm ². The normal density is 50-100 FU / cm ². Thanks to our fine art we can handle larger treatments than what can be performed by the conventional FU transplantation. A more subtle method is not only impossible but also unnecessary. With the Ultra Refined Follicular Unit Transplantation, the highest stage of development with regard to the greatest density and naturalness is achieved.
All the world's hair transplantations are measured on this "gold standard“. The donor site is closed by a cosmetic surgical suture. A new closure technique - the Trichophytic-closure technology - has managed to make the removal area in general after the treatment almost invisible. Thanks to this "overgrowing technique”, patients enjoy even more freedom in their choice of hairstyle, whether long or short.
